If You're a Bride-to-Be Planning a Beach Wedding, These Are the Dresses to Wear
Weddings, weddings, weddings! The season is definitely upon us. If you're attending one (or a few) this summer, finding an outfit can be a tricky task, so we've already found 32 guest dresses to wear beyond the big day. If you're a bride-to-be, finding "the one" can be even harder. But fear not. Of course, we're here to help in this department, too. While we've already found the best bridal styles for a civil ceremony, next on the list are beach nuptials.
Bride Charlotte wore Halfpenny London's Mayfair gown at her wedding in Mauritius.
So many people are choosing to get married abroad on a beach (we don’t blame them), but this can make finding that specific bridal dress even more of a task. We all know how sand gets absolutely everywhere, so finding a dress that doesn't collect the whole beach as you walk down the aisle is essential, and this is where short dresses come in handy. Traditional longer dresses still work, though, and we've found styles from The Row, Rixo and Reformation that would be perfect.
If the beach destination in question is somewhere hot, you also have to think about looser-fitting gowns and materials such as linen to keep you cool. Luckily, we've found 17 wedding dresses that'll suit every modern beach ceremony.
This backless design is ideal for a warm beach location. Note: You'll either have to go braless or opt for a stick-on bra for this one.
We're imagining this one with an Italian beach backdrop.
It may not be the most outdoor-appropriate style, but it's stunning.
So gorgeous for a boho ceremony.
A shorter style will be much easier to walk in on the beach.
A linen dress will be cooler in warmer climates.
Australian label Aje knows how to create a "wow" dress.
Next up, 32 wedding guest dresses you'll wear again.
