I'm a Shopping Specialist, and These Elevated Basics Are the Cream of the Crop
As you may know, I write a lot about fashion basics here at Who What Wear, and there's no doubt we editors, like you, are always in search of the perfect elevated, versatile staple that is timeless yet trend-relevant.
As a fashion market editor and shopping specialist, I try, test, and wear a lot of basics, and today, I'm especially excited to share some of the chicest fashion-forward staples that have been dreamed up by all of the editors here at Who What Wear! And not to sound biased, but they really are the cream of the crop.
Our brand-new clothing line, Who What Wear Collection, has just launched and features trend-ish classics, small-batch drops, and feel-good fabrics that enhance, elevate, and grow with our ever-evolving style. Below, I'm sharing some of my favorite stylish basics that are thoughtfully designed and high quality and that exude an understated cool factor. They also won't break your budget because we believe quality, trend-forward pieces and accessible prices are not mutually exclusive.
Keep scrolling to take a peek at my favorite elevated basics from the collection and to see how fashion people are already wearing them, then shop them for yourself.
The Indya Dress is one of my personal favorites from the collection—as seen here on yours truly. (Not to mention, it's seeing me through the growth of my baby bump!) It's comfortable, lightweight, and easy to dress up or down.

This chic and charming knit set feels super luxe. It comes in two versatile colors and can be easily styled as separates, but I love the way they look together. Pair with high-waisted pants or shorts for a polished and timeless look.

A timeless cropped tank is an essential part of our wardrobe basics. This modern silhouette is high quality, versatile, and forever on-trend. Pair with its matching Yusra Cardigan ($125) for an easy, no-think outfit.

A sleek slip skirt is a basic I can't live without. This one comes in the most gorgeous chocolate-brown hue (along with other colors) and is unquestionably the answer to every ambiguous dress code in your future! There are so many chic ways to style it—from casual sneakers and a tee to kitten heels and a blazer.

A lightweight square-neck knit tank is the perfect layering piece. It's ideal for wearing alone or with an oversize button-down or cardi. Our very own editor Kristen styles it here with the Avery Plissé Skirt ($125) and heels, proving it can be dressed up in an instant.

I love a classic dress with elevated details that make it stand out from the rest. Everything from the ruched bust and scrunched straps to the buttons and tie detail makes me swoon.

Yes, plissé! I know I'm not the only one in love with luxurious plissé fabric, which gives every outfit an understated elegance and cool factor. WWW Collection's plissé separates are favorites among our editors.
