I'm a Jumper Hoarder, But I Would Make Room for These 23 in My Wardrobe
I'm the type of person who will always feel even the faintest of chills in the air. On a warm summer's day, you might even find me shivering at the slightest hint of a breeze. But being a cold girl has its perks. It means I can always justify treating myself to a new jumper. And with autumn just around the corner, I decided to scope out the current knitwear scene to see if anything piqued my interest. I didn't necessarily expect to create a full-blown wish list of the best autumn jumpers, but that's exactly what happened.
Ordinarily, I'd only buy one or, at most, two new knitted pieces at the start of the season. At this point, I only invest in quality pieces that I know I'll wear season after season, so I never really feel the need to update my jumper collection on a whim. Still, after locking eyes with this beautiful lot, I'm having the hardest time deciding between them.
This season's designer jumper highlights include Shrimps's strawberry embroidery, J.W. Anderson's anchor-emblazoned patchwork creation, and Nili Lotan's chic take on rugby stripes. But the high-street also has more than its fair share of covetable sweaters to choose from. & Other Stories's classic cable-knit jumper is likely to be my first purchase, and chances are COS's on-trend tangerine offering will be my second.
I already know that all of the knits on my list will be swift sell-outs, so I recommend scrolling below to check out the best autumn jumpers before they inevitably disappear.
