Confirmed: These Australian Celebrities Have the Coolest Street Style

This May 8–19, Who What Wear Australia presents the second annual Street Style Awards, #TheStreeties, honouring the tastemakers and industry insiders whose style sets the tone and influences the world of fashion today. Last year, Brooke Testoni was crowned the winner of the 2016 Street Style Awards, largely down to her original, authentic and creative fashion choices. Be sure to check back on May 19 for our announcement of this year's honourees.
In the lead up to Fashion Week Australia, one could say Australian women embody the modern strength of femininity. What does this mean exactly? It's the strength that comes from the freedom to express yourself creatively, while also inspiring others to do so as well.
That’s the beauty of Australian style. Without fail, no matter where they are around the world, Australian celebrities bring energy and an element of spontaneity into their style choices—they could be walking the streets of New York City, pairing a classic, high-end piece of jewellery with a low-key street look—and it’s simply magical.
As we kick off the #TheStreeties celebrations, we honour names such as Lara Worthington and Margot Robbie, who always manage to challenge the fashion status quo. Even when they're off duty, these women know how to bring an electric edge, and we're proud to see they’re showing the world the essence of Australian street style.
Scroll down to see the looks of our favourite Australian celebrities. And don't forget, you can post your favourite to Instagram and tag it with #TheStreeties.
