5 ASOS Trends Everyone in Our Office Can't Stop Talking About
Every season, there’s always a handful of ASOS items that get picked up by the fashion crowd… So far a neon slip skirt and a green suit have proven to be 2019's big hitters. Although there’s no shortage of other key pieces to select from the zillions on site, more often than not, most end up selling out before we’ve even managed to add them to our basket.
This season, to avoid such disappointment, we’ve narrowed down the trends we predict will blow up and handpicked three key buys for each. All of these have longevity, meaning you can wear them now and hold onto them for other seasons or periods in time where colours, trends and styling ideas always make a return. So here’s our expert guide to the best pieces on ASOS right now. Enjoy!
1. Boilersuits
This trend shows no sign of slowing anytime soon, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Choose denim, khaki or something neutral to layer over tees or style under an oversized trench coat, or go solo and finish with chunky trainers.
2. Standout suiting
Arguably the best destination for high street suiting at the moment, we can’t get enough of the punchy new-season hues dropping in, including this influencer favourite, which is still in stock (for now)!

3. Hair accessories
A hair accessory or two is a surefire way to elevate your everyday basics, and ASOS has new-season styles in abundance. Keep it chic in a headband, or slip a silky scarf around a ponytail and pair with a spring knit and off-duty denim.
4. Waist-defining dresses
We can always rely on ASOS to deliver on excellent dresses, but right now its speciality lies in a particular silhouette—basically anything in an earthy tone with a nipped-in waist is ticking all the boxes.

5. Shirred detailing
There are a few details that scream S/S 19 from a hundred paces—one such thing is the subtle, boho finished called shirring. It's when you have little elastic threads pulling fabric together to create a kind of smocked effect. Flattering in every form, from swimwear to pretty maxi dresses.
