Trust Us—These Are the 6 ASOS Items Everyone Will Want to Buy This Month

ASOS has a habit of creating cult pieces that sell out before you can say "ASOS." That being said, things don't stay in the new-in section for long. This summer, we have lost count of the number of cult pieces we've written about, from teeny tiny bags to belted dresses and dad sandals. The "trending" section of ASOS is a recent addition, and it signals to you the pieces that are (most likely) about to be sold out.

So what's in store for the coming month? While we are happy to make the most of the (mostly) balmy weather with floaty dresses and chunky sandals, we're also keeping an eye on September, which will bring with it autumn collections, and inevitably, some cooler temperatures.

We're not quite in full-blown knitwear mode, we want our August purchases to be versatile enough to wear now then be adapted when the weather turns. That's why we've included transeasonal dresses and minimalist tailoring. Both trends that have plenty of currency now, but will also look fab with knee-high boots and chunky knits in three months' time.

Here, we break down the key ASOS pieces people are loving right now—from dresses and tailoring to shoes and blouses. Keep scrolling to see (and shop) the best ASOS items we've seen so far this year.

We're getting closer to that tricky time of year when we're still wanting to wear summer dresses, but also looking ahead to the new season. A transeasonal dress is the answer. Whether it's a (faux) leather fabric or long-sleeved style, these midis will look so good with boots when September comes.

Minimalist Separates

Minimalism is having a bit of a moment right now, and we're fully on board. These clean-lined pieces are guaranteed to work hard in your wardrobe (thanks to their unprinted simplicity), plus they're the sort of styles that won't date. Here's to better cost per wear.

Organza Blouses

It started off as a niche trend, but now the organza blouse has taken on a life of its own. ASOS has plenty of whimsical styles to spark your inspiration, including a chic pussy-bow iteration and a frothy pink style. This is 2019's answer to the going-out top.

Neon Skirts

The green neon slip skirt has gone viral this summer, and luckily, there's still some stock available. It can also be found in the ASOS Curve, section making is shoppable in sizes 4–30. It's all about the midi style that's so easy to wear with blouses, T-shirts and vest tops.

Buckled Sandals

There are so many key sandals this year (from "dad" sandals to platforms to skinny strappies), but the ones that are catching our eye at ASOS are buckled. They're sleek, chic and will go with all your summer wares.

Checked Dresses

The Neon Rose dress Ada is wearing has proved a hit amongst the influencers, and it's flying off the virtual rails. We're under good authority that the shirred, bustier-style below is already selling out super fast too, so you'll have to be speedy to get your hands on the under-£40 winner.
