Bella Hadid Confirms It: '00s Satin Is Back in a Big Way

Do you remember wearing copious amounts of satin in the noughties? We do, quite fondly. There were the satin cargo pants we so adored and those slinky handkerchief going-out tops and fitted dresses in two-tone finishes. The once-forgotten high-shine fabric has been slowly but surely easing its way back into fashion favour over the past few months—surely something to do with the burgeoning boudoir trends and our continued love-in with slip dresses. This means that you'll find a host of approved options for day and night—and many girls are already fully on board.

Bella Hadid is the latest style star to pick up on the '00s comeback. For last night's Miu Miu party in Paris, the model chose a double dose of satin in a crop top and A-line miniskirt combination and flourished it with mega-platforms—a combination that couldn't be more reminiscent of the decade if it tried.
