This French Skincare Brand Is Raking in the 5-Star Reviews—9 Products I've Tried and Would Actually Recommend
As a beauty editor, I count scoping out the hidden gems of the skincare world one of my main missions. I've spent countless hours researching, swatching, and reading reviews to find the underrated products that stand out more than others. Enter, Typology.
The French skincare brand only launched back in 2019, but its products have already amassed thousands of rave reviews. They're affordable, feature innovative formulations and key ingredients, and (bonus) are housed in chic, minimal packaging which will bring major French girl beauty vibes to your bathroom shelf.
The brand's mission is to simplify skincare by focussing on the essentials, and to be completely transparent when it comes to ingredient sourcing and product formulations. Basically, if you're looking for a premium natural skincare brand, this is it.
In five years, Typology's range has expanded from a handful of products to an extensive collection that features everything from moisturisers and serums to masks and toners. Oh, and in the past year, they've even expanded into bodycare and haircare, too.
Naturally, this means that if you're new to the brand, choosing your first Typology purchases may feel a little overwhelming. But fortunately, that's why I'm here. After a lot of trying and testing, I've compiled an ultimate list of the best Typology skincare products—from the brand's bestselling 9-ingredient moisturiser to the vitamin C-infused skin tint I'm currently obsessed with, scroll down to meet your new faves.

1. Typology 9-Ingredient Moisturiser
I'm a big believer in using moisturisers that focus on one thing, moisturising—let your serums do the hard work when it comes to brightening and clearing. With just nine ingredients, this basic (in a good way) moisturiser is perfect for all (even the most sensitive) skin types. Hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, purifiter water, and glycerin work hard to keep skin hydrated all day and night long.
2. Typology Anti-Mark Serum — Pha 14% + Centella Asiatica
Centella asiatica (also known as cica) is an increasingly popular ingredient with soothing, repairing benefits for all skin types. In this serum, it's paired with a PHA called gluconolactone—together they help to reduce inflammation and the appearance of post-acne scarring.
3. Typology Radiance Serum — With 11% Vitamin C
It's easy to see why this serum is one of Typology's bestsellers—it contains a potent (11%!) concentration of vitamin C which works fast to deliver noticeable results. Expect brighter, stronger, smoother skin, and reduced appearance of pores.
4. Typology Eye Serum — With 5% Caffeine + 5% Niacinamide
Looking for an eyecare product that does more than just hydrate? With caffeine to depuff and niacinamide to brighten, this eye serum helps to reduce dark circles and puffiness. The reviews are seriously impressive.
5. Typology 7-Ingredient Micellar Water
You might think a micellar water wouldn't be worth getting excited about, but what I love about this one is how simple the formula is—just seven ingredients. It lifts away even the most stubborn makeup without stripping or irritating skin.
6. Typology Mattifying Serum — With 10% Azelaic Acid
Azelaic acid is well known for its benefits for reducing redness and sensitivity, but it also really helps to regulate sebum production and balance oily skin. If you're dealing with enlarged pores, blackheads, and breakouts, this is the serum for you.
7. Typology Tinted Serum — Vitamin C, Squalane & Aloe Vera
This skincare-makeup hybrid is hands down one of my favourite skin tints of all time. It has surprisingly good coverage, gives great glow, but feels totally weightless. The best part is you can go about your day knowing that vitamin C, squalane, and aloe vera are working hard to brighten and hydrate your skin around the clock.
8. Typology Repairing Lip Mask — 1% Ceramides + Hyaluronic Acid
Let's be real, some 'lips masks' are no more than glorified lip balms, but this one is legit. It has a thick gel-balm texture (truly mask-like) and nourishes dry, chapped lips with a potent blend of ceramides and hyaluronic acid.
9. Typology Resurfacing Mask — With 10% Aha and 10% Pha
