A Spring Refresh Hates to See Me Coming—30 Beauty and Wellness Staples Currently on My Wish List
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
I love new beginnings—big or small. Whether it's New Year's, a landmark birthday, or a simple Sunday reset when I put clean sheets on the bed and take an everything shower, I love fresh starts. They're full of potential, opportunity, and excitement. They're also a good time to evaluate our routines, identify what works, and eliminate what doesn't.
That's why I've been doing seasonal beauty and wellness refreshes for years. I'll take the time to deep-clean makeup brushes, sanitize every corner of my vanity, and make important swaps based on current concerns. I might even try a new skin device, introduce new supplements into my routine, or crack open a blank journal.
I love spring refreshes the most. Maybe it's because it's the season of growth and renewal, but I can't resist breathing fresh life into my stale, winter routine. Ahead, see all 30 (yes, 30!) beauty and wellness staples currently on my wish list.
Ankle weights are an important part of most at-home Pilates workouts. I have my eye on this pretty peach pair from the FP Movement x Bala collab. I just love the color.
I've seen multiple content creators use this drugstore lip stain, and I'm officially influenced to buy it for myself. It offers high-impact and long-lasting color with a lightweight texture. And that pen-like applicator couldn't be easier to use.
After a winter of drinking tea and coffee, I need a brighter smile.
I'm trying to get back into running, even though I'm horrible at it. These run shorts have become my new obsession, and I want one in every color, but I'll start with this classic white pair.
I've always wanted to try using a wellness journal to track my established habits and inspire new ones. I love Papier's aura-inspired one.
This is Korea's number one sunscreen (designed to meet the U.S.'s FDA standards). It's so silky and lightweight, and once it's on, you'll forget you ever put sunscreen on at all, yet you'll get broad-spectrum SPF 45. It's so good, and I highly recommend it.
Not only is this comb STUNNING, but it also works as a gua sha to temporarily boost circulation to the hair follicles and thus encourage new hair growth.
I love wearing simple, stretchy headbands, but for spring, I want a brighter color than black. These should do the trick.
The dry, winter air was rough on my nails. They're weak, bendy, and sometimes split. I'll rely on Essie's Advanced Nail Strengthener to help fix that before I indulge in fun, spring manicures.
I've heard time and again how good rosemary is for the hair and scalp and how, if you use it often enough, it can actually stimulate hair growth. I'm planning on testing it in my quest to achieve long, luxurious hair by summer.
Speaking of long, luxurious hair, I've seen impressive results from this densifying scalp serum, and I want to start using it again in the hopes of thicker hair by summer.
Last but not least, I'll be using this scalp derma-stamp on the thinning areas around my temples. A derma-stamp, which is basically the same thing as a derma-roller, causes micro-injuries in the skin. The skin, in turn, ramps up collagen production in those areas. And collagen is critical to healthy hair growth.
Despite "springing forward" with daylight savings time, I have some serious dark circles to contend with. As such, this color-corrector from Kosas is at the top of my list. It disguises dark circles while visibly de-puffing the skin with hyaluronic acid, caffeine, and peptides.
Speaking of dark circles, I need to be better about using a dedicated eye cream. This one, from Tatcha, promises to brighten the under-eye area with 12-hour time-release vitamin C. It's just what I need to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this spring and summer.
I love this lightweight, hydrating body lotion, but I'm almost out, so I'm going to restock. It's chock-full of beneficial, antioxidant-rich ingredients like matcha, rambutan, snow mushroom, caffeine, and pre- and postbiotics for healthy, happy, balanced skin.
As a coffee addict, I've always struggled to drink enough water. These electrolyte powders have been helping me because A) they hydrate better than water alone and B) they taste incredible.
Spring calls for bright, fresh, and wide-awake skin, so I'm swapping my creamy winter cleanser for this gently exfoliating one. It uses fruit enzymes and acids to reveal brighter, smoother, softer skin.
Most citrus scents veer either A) too simplistic or B) too youthful. This one is different. With notes of cassis, clementine, and vanilla, it smells like a sun-drenched citrus grove. You get notes of the fruit, the peel, and even the leaves. Consider it the elevated, 2025 way to wear citrus perfume.
Another perfume I love, this one is meant to "elevate the spirit" and inspire "transformation and illumination." (It doesn't get springier than that.) It smells bright and fresh with notes of mossy citrus, Italian bergamot, cyclamen, iris, and orange flower.
I've been obsessed with Rhode's Peptide Lip Shapes ever since they launched back in February. They make my thin lips look fuller and plumper (get this—in a believable way). The shade Lift is my fave.
I'll never stop using Rhode's Pocket Blush in Toasted Teddy. The warm, terra-cotta shade is so flattering and makes me look sun-kissed, even when I'm far from it.
ALO's candles are so good. They smell incredible, they burn cleanly, and they have a crackling wood wick that emits the most relaxing sound. This one, called the Love Candle, is meant to emit "uplifting, heart-opening energy," with notes of tuberose, white florals, citrus, vanilla and sandalwood.
I love vitamin C body products for their brightening, evening, and anti-aging powers, but they can be hard to come by. That's why this ALO bodywash is at the top of my spring wish list. It's packed with antioxidants and magnesium to ease stress and muscle tension.
Here's another vitamin C body product I can't wait to try. Cyklar's Vitamin C Body Oils are formulated with oil-soluble vitamin C, ectoin, and squalane for bright, glowing, and moisturized skin. Plus, they're spiked with the brand's signature fragrances. I think I'll go with Naked Neroli.
Whenever my friends come to visit, they always ask me to stock my shower with Saltair bodywashes. The brand creates some of the best-smelling, sensorial formulas in the game. This new one, called Salt Water Vanilla, is my new favorite. It calls to mind sun-drenched skin, salty air, and warm sand.
The same scent is available in this thick, rich, and luxurious body butter.
If you're rolling with a months-old makeup sponge, this is your sign to change that.
I'm no fashion editor, but I think biker shorts are the basis of so many chic athleisure outfits. These ones from ALO Yoga are comfortable yet flattering.
I recently learned about these pre, pro, and postbiotic capsules that are supposed to support healthy glow and a healthy gut. Who doesn't want that?
