The Lineup is a monthly series where we're giving you an inside peek at the beauty lineups of cool fashion people, editors, makeup artists, hairstylists, and estheticians—all the people we trust the most. Get ready for a behind-the-scenes look at all the can't-live-without products that make their worlds go 'round.

Raised on a 100-year-old plum farm in Northern California, Allison Taylor and her siblings Jacqueline and Elaine discovered their love for organic farming and sustainability. Eventually, this love turned into a passion project for the trio that would reach cult-status almost instantly. Beloved by editors and aestheticians alike, it all started with the brand's Plum Beauty Oil($72). I've written the oil my own personal love letter because it's hydrating, calming, and perfect for my acne-prone skin.

The brand started through the use of upcycled byproducts from their family's farm. "The plum seeds were essentially being discarded (which we all agreed was crazy) so we did two and a half years of research on the cold-pressed oil and launched Le Prunier with a single SKU (the oil) in 2018."

A few equally as incredible launches later, Taylor swears by keeping her routine simple and utilizing the healing powers of plum oil regularly. She's also a huge fan of facials and massages, "Specifically, buccal and deep tissue massage," she says. "Monthly Hydrafacials have also been incredible for my skin. I’ve dabbled with Botox around my elevens because I spend so much time in front of the computer and squint a ton despite wearing glasses. I love visiting Bell Yoo at Mimo Aesthetics in L.A. She’s the best. She’s very conservative and I’m really hesitant to do too much beyond that."

Beyond products, Taylor keeps her diet in check and limits caffeine and alcohol to keep her skin in tip top shape. "I believe clear skin starts from the inside and no amount of products will help if your diet is poor. I also recommend working with a functional medicine doctor (I see Dr. Lekkos in L.A.) and he's helped me balance my hormones, get my adrenal fatigue in check, and feel light years better. If you're struggling with acne scars, discoloration, or just general skin tone unevenness, I love a good laser. I typically try to keep my skincare pretty minimal and find that’s what works best."

For all the details on Taylor's favorite cult-loved vitamin C serum, makeup she's sworn by for over 10 years, and her favorite fragrance, keep scrolling. I'm sharing it all ahead.
