I Found So Much Beauty Inspo During Fashion Month—7 Emerging Trends That Are About to Be Everywhere
Now that fashion month has come to a close, it's time to fully digest everything we saw—from New York's biggest upcoming fashion trends to the looks that will take London by storm in 2025. Of course, as a beauty editor, I consider it my 24/7 job to then track down emerging beauty trends that stood out at every show. Seriously—I keep a running note on my phone when I comb through videos and photos of every show.
After completing my latest bout of research, I have a few thoughts. While there were a few trends that were a bit flashier, most of what I saw is actually pretty wearable and easy to re-create. From rosy cheeks and winged liner to luminous eye shadow looks, take a look ahead. I'm breaking down every S/S 25 fashion month beauty trend that gave me makeup inspo for days.
1. Wings of Glory
Spotted at: Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Coperni, Courrèges, Gucci, Carolina Herrera
I never get tired of seeing a dramatic wing on the runway. While this trend has popped up a few times over the years, designers kept it fresh by playing with the length and tail of the wing. As you can see above, models at McQueen's show sported an extra-elongated wing that swept well past the brow for a dramatic effect. Other shows, such as Carolina Herrera, opted for a subtle upward sweep that's simple, elegant, and romantic to stay on par with the collection. This is an easy look to replicate if you're already skilled with an eyeliner pencil or liquid liner.

2. Cyber Punk
Spotted at: Anrealage, Lutz Huelle, Mugler, Aadnevik, Chet Lo, Ferrari
Futuristic elements could be seen across fashion month shows like Anrealage, Lutz Huelle, Mugler, and Ferrari. Anrealage opted for cyber tech headwear while Mugler models rocked razor-sharp dystopian bobs. Some designers like Chet Lo took the Blade Runner–chic aesthetic a step further with futuristic and abstract nail designs.

3. Rosy Hues
Spotted at: Hermès, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Peter Do, Stella McCartney, Emporio Armani
Rosy beauty looks were on full display this fashion month with tones that ranged from nude-pink and '90s mauve all the way to juicy berry. Most designers opted for a rosy-pink lip or pop of color on the cheeks, keeping it simple yet polished. There were, however, a few shows that fully embraced more vibrant hues, such as Chet Lo, Emporio Armani, and Peter Do. This look is the most practical for everyday wear, and you can select a rosy color that suits your particular skin tone.

4. Luminous Eyes
Spotted at: Fiorucci, Emporio Armani, Buerlangma, Knwls, Huishan Zhang, Kobi Halperin
While the F/W 24 runway shows saw eye looks in shades of gold and silver reminiscent of the '70s disco era, this season was all about taking that radiance up a notch. At Kobi Halperin and Buerlangma, huge splashes of shimmer and dynamic colors were utilized far past the upper lids and along the cheeks for an extra-luminous look. This type of look works really well if you have hooded eyes. Taking your shadow up to the brow bone will actually help lift and open the eye.

5. Retro Glam
Spotted at: Dolce & Gabbana, Marni, Richard Quinn, Christian Cowan
A veil here, a Marilyn Monroe wig there. Another theme that popped up this season? Retro beauty—complete with striking '50s curls at Dolce & Gabbana and eyebrows straight out of a vaudeville show at Marni and Christian Cowan. This trend might be less realistic to wear casually, but a "retro-lite" version might work perhaps? Adding a bit of curl to the hair with a strong brow is a start.

6. Dark Feminine
Spotted at: Christian Dior, Christian Siriano, Chanel, Huishan Zhang
The dark feminine aesthetic has taken over TikTok and the S/S 25 runways. Smoky eyes, heavy liner, and dark hair accessories were spotted at Dior, Christian Siriano, Chanel, and Huishan Zhang. This is the perfect vibe for fall IMO, and I'll be matching any inspo from the runway with an accompanying dark nail color.

7. Siren Lips
Spotted at: Ferrari, Elisabetta Franchi, Versace, Alejandra Alonso Rojas
Bold velvety lip colors were seen across the board, but looks at Ferrari, Elisabetta Franchi, and Versace really stood out this time around. Glossy shades of candy apple red and deeper lip hues like berry wine made an appearance. You can take a peek at a few of our beauty team's favorite siren-esque lip shades.
