I Tried Every Fragrance From This Viral TikTok Brand—These Are My Top Picks
I've learned to be much more discerning over the years when it comes to viral fragrances on TikTok. Let's just say I've been duped a few times too many and now take what users say with a large grain of salt. But that doesn't mean that every fragrance brand I've discovered there isn't up to par. I've found a few brands there that have impressed me lately.
Case in point? Noyz. This brand may not be totally mainstream just yet, but it has a few really unique offerings that I think are worth talking about. If you're curious about what makes this brand so great, keep scrolling. I reviewed all the brand's fragrances ahead.
Key notes: Indonesian cassia, black plum, clary sage, Ceylon cinnamon, pistachio, cashmere woods, Somalian incense, Madagascar vanilla, crisp amber
My review: This is the offering from the brand I've heard the most about. If you like a fragrance that's both woody and sweet, this is the one for you! The notes of incense, cashmere wood, and black plum stand out the most to me and this is a unique scent. I love that it has an earthier tone to it and it falls into more of a gourmand camp. This was my top pick of the bunch because it marries sweet and woody so perfectly—something I really love.
Key notes: Saffron, Sichuan pepper, bergamot, Tuscan leather, Turkish pink rose, wild raspberry, violet, marshmallow, ebony woods, patchouli
My review: As soon as I lifted my wrist to my nose to give this a sniff, I audibly said, "Ooh." I've tried a lot of perfumes and I can genuinely say I haven't smelled anything like this. The notes of leather give it a kick and stand out the most to me here, but it also smells fresh and crisp on the dry down in a way I didn't expect. It's kind of spicy and feels more like a traditionally masculine fragrance. If you like headier leather scents, this one is a good one to try. It's not exactly something I'd wear daily as I tend to favor gourmands, but I did still really like this.
Key notes: Eucalyptus leaves, coconut water, bergamot, salted fig, clary sage, blue violet, French lavender, Venezualan tonka bean, baltic amber, cedarwood
My review: This was by far my favorite fragrance of the bunch. TBH, the name is ironic because it instantly lifted my mood once I smelled it. It's sweet, breezy, and fresh all at the same time. A few of my favorite perfume notes are coconut water, tonka bean, fig, and violet—this fragrance has all four! While it does have a slight gourmand edge to it, it's not overpowering or syrupy, making it the perfect light daily scent.
Key notes: Italian Lemon, Australian pink pepper, jasmine petals, rhubarb, raspberry blossom, cedarwood, crisp amber, pink sugar
My review: This fragrance has a bit of a bite to it. The notes of rhubarb and pink pepper give it a sharpness that wasn't entirely my favorite, but it softens quite a bit with the dry down. Honestly, I just don't think this one quite worked for my body chemistry, but it does smell fresh and a tad salty, in case you like breezier fragrances.
More Fragrances I Love Right Now
Key notes: Pear, cedar, caramel
This new offering from DedCool is my favorite to date. It's so perfect for a beach day because it smells fresh and solar but also sweet.
Key notes: Wild gardenia, black plum, carnation, Indian tuberose, palissandre wood, honey
This perfume is a major splurge, but IMO, it's absolutely worth it. I have many favorites from Byredo, but this one is an unsung hero with lush notes of black plum, wild gardenia, tuberose, and honey.
Key notes: Sparkling raspberry, bright Calabrian bergamot, violet, rose absolute, cocoa butter, leather accords, Virginian cedarwood
I have been wearing this nonstop since its launch recently and have received so many compliments. It's a rich gourmand that's warm, fruity, and floral all at the same time. I can't get enough of it and even spray it on my arm when I'm working from home just to boost my mood.
Key notes: Tuberose petals, golden gardenia, honeysuckle
I adore this floral perfume from Ellis Brooklyn. Every time I wear it, at least one person tells me I smell good without fail.
Key notes: Bergamot, lychee, pear, grapefruit, petalia, rosa damascena, vetiver haiti orput, incense, ambroxan, vanilla, musk, evernyl
This is another one that falls into the splurge category, but it is my all-time favorite fragrance. It's sweet and has a charm to it that no other fragrance has, IMO.
