After a Sweaty Summer, I'm Ready for Fall Glam—30 Makeup Picks I'm Buying Before September
Makeup lovers everywhere are rejoicing at the end of summer. No more dabbing your face with cocktail napkins when you're out having drinks with friends, and no more exclusively wearing BB cream because everything else will sweat off. Now it's time to get back in the glam room and start having fun with makeup again without the looming fear of the temperature outside destroying your look.
Fall is so fun for makeup for so many reasons: vampy looks are back, dark lip colors are encouraged, and we're all a little more down to go more full-glam than usual. With New York Fashion Week around the corner to welcome in autumn, there's no better time for me to shop for a few new fall beauty goodies. My orders were so good that it didn't feel fair to not share them.
Keep scrolling to take a look at the 30 beauty picks I'm stocking up on for fall.
Now that fall is around the corner, my primer needs have changed. I'm looking for something less sweat-resistant and more blurring. I can't wait until this one arrives on my doorstep.
If you haven't heard of Patrick Ta's Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush, then I don't know where you've been. I'm a big blush person and usually use a mix of powder and cream blushes, so this product has allowed me to get my desired blush look much easier. I love the deeper shades for a more smoldering fall cheek look. I just ordered this plum shade called Oh She's Different, and I can't wait to play with it.
Take it from someone who loves a matte look: This powder is a game changer.
I just recently swapped my Beautyblenders for brushes and can confidently say that I'm not going back.
While the sweaty season may be coming to an end, I'm still always a little oily. This little pressed powder and brush set makes staying matte on the go so much easier.
Sol de Janeiro's newest perfume mist. I'm finding myself reaching for it constantly.
I have been in the market for a new powder brush, and once I saw this one, it was game over.
I'm a huge fan of everything Tory Burch and have tried a lot of her fragrances, but the Daring Rose is my new favorite. It's the perfect combination of floral yet sultry, plus I get so many compliments every time I wear it.
At any given time, there's a Rhode lip tint in any one of my many purses. I just love them.
Swapping my summer bronzer out for this cooler compact from YSL Beauty.
One of TikTok's favorite blushes, now in a mini.
I know we're supposed to be talking about makeup, but a good retinol is a must-have in your beauty routine regardless of the season.
As I've already mentioned, I'm all about using brushes for your face makeup. I could see myself using this for concealer.
The internet can't get enough of Rhode's newest Pocket Blush. It comes in six shades, and I'm eyeing the deeper ones for fall.
I put this on almost every night and morning. Trust me—you'll thank me later.
I have been wearing less heavy foundation lately. I think it's time for me to try a stick version.
I keep this body butter nearby for when I wear miniskirts and sweaters with bare legs or when the colder temperature starts to dry out my skin.
Just because it's fall doesn't mean we're done glowing.
I have been using MAC liners for years now. My favorite shade is Cork.
If a cream shadow and blush had a baby, it would be this product.
The perfect powder to take with you everywhere.
