I've Tested Practically Everything at Sephora—Here's What to Buy During the Semi-Annual Savings Event
Sephora has been one of my favorite places to shop at since middle school, when, for the first time ever, my mom let me come with her to buy the required makeup for an upcoming dance competition. It was love at first swatch, and, well, the rest is history. Whenever I need a little dose of retail therapy, Sephora is often the first place I turn, especially when I can score some of my ride-or-die beauty staples for significantly less money. Enter the semi-annual Savings Event. (Which, TBH, I shop as if it's some kind of extreme sport.)
Now through April 14, Sephora Rouge members can get 20% off, VIB members get 15% off, and Insiders get 10% off with the code SAVEMORE at checkout. Not to mention, the Sephora Collection is 30% off for all Beauty Insider members during the full duration of the event. Because some products are too good to gatekeep, I'm sharing 36 of my absolute favorites below. Keep scrolling!
I would recommend this lightweight hair oil for the scent alone, but it also delivers deep hydration, glossy shine, and damage repair magic in one fell swoop. Plus, it protects against heat up to 450°F.
Augustinus Bader just launched an SPF 50 mineral sunscreen, and—unsurprisingly—it's fantastic.
Since dyeing my hair red from platinum blonde, I've had to completely restrategize my brow routine. It's taken me roughly one and a half years, but I've finally found my new holy-grail brow regimen (shades 2.75 and 3!) in Benefit's beloved Goof Proof Brow Pencil. No other pencil glides, shapes, and fills as effortlessly as this one.
It doesn't matter if I've been wearing my makeup for 10 hours straight—if I set it with this iconic spray from Charlotte Tilbury, it will still look freshly applied. I can't live without it, especially when temperatures start to spike!
I can't even tell you how much I love this perfume from Chloé. There are so many fragrances I try and enjoy but ultimately have an expiration date. (That's actually part of the beauty of fragrance for me; I can link a certain scent to a certain season or time in my life, which makes it feel extra unique and special.) I can count on my hand the number of scents I'll wear the rest of my life, and this drop-dead combination of raspberry, rose, and amber is one of them.
I can't stand a high-maintenance lip, so I've leaned heavily into the new lip stains from Clarins. They're completely weightless and flush your lips with the most flattering (and long-lasting) dose of color. I love all four shades that are available, but Nude Water( a pretty rosy brown) has become an easy daily go-to.
I recently used all three of these products from Davines, and it reminded me why I've loved the brand for years. If you want soft, shiny, ultra-healthy hair, you're looking at the golden trio.
The only way I can describe DedCool's iconic scent Taunt is sexy. And who doesn't want their bed linens and clothing to smell sexy?! I'll never get sick of the lush combination of vanilla, amber, and bergamot.
I dare you to find a prettier liquid highlighter than Armani Beauty's Fluid Sheer. I've used it since college, and I swear it's one of the most underrated makeup products of all time. I like to put some on my hand, dot an angled blush brush into it, and lightly blend it into the tops of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and the center of my forehead. It gives you the most dewy and glistening glow without looking shimmery or tacky.
No topical cream can completely rival the likes of Botox or filler, but this new formula from Dr. Dennis Gross seriously brightens my dark circles and tightens the fine lines around my eyes.
Dr. Idriss's Major Fade Active Seal is one of my all-time favorite moisturizers (it's brightening, lightweight, and cooling on the skin, making it perfect for summer!), and the coordinating Flash Mask and Hyper Serum in this strategic set are the cherries on top.
A prettier hairbrush does not exist. Plus, you can easily take this adorable mini size with you anywhere you go.
This new shine-enhancing hair mask from Fable & Mane is so freaking good that I don't know if I'll ever feel compelled to use any other mask. Yep, I said it!
No matter how many lip oils I've tried, Gisou's is the formula I can't quit! The texture and shine are perfection, and while I appreciate the newer shades and finishes that have been added, I'll always come back to the OG clear.
Yep, Glow Recipe's new liquid blushes are just as dreamy as TikTok says they are. I've been using both shades on repeat whenever I do my makeup lately. I wear Berry Flush along the highest points of my cheeks and Watermelon Flush toward the apples.
My ride-or-die for Bambi-like lashes! I've tried lots of lash serums over the years, and I find that this one yields the fastest and most noticeable results. Everyone is different, but I've also experienced the least amount of eye irritation with this formula.
This body spray from Henry Rose is one part sexy, one part fresh and juicy, thanks to the yummy mix of blackcurrant, blackberry, and musk. Wear it any time, anywhere, and any season—you will always be the best-smelling person in the room.
I normally prefer a medium coverage foundation over a skin tint, but I love how flawless—yet somehow bare—my skin looks after I've used this cult-favorite formula from Hourglass. Oh, and if you want more Hourglass faves, I use the Ambient Lighting Blush, Ambient Lighting Bronzer, and the Phantom Volumizing Glossy Lip Balm nearly every day.
My favorite mascara of all time. It lengthens, thickens, curls, and doesn't have the annoying habit of leaving smudges where my lashes hit my brow bone. (Yes, that's really how long your lashes will be.) It also happens to come in a stunning new brown shade that I'll be wearing all summer long.
I love every single project InnBeauty Project makes, but this plumping serum is next-level. It turns my skin from practically vampiric to that of someone who gets 10 hours of sleep and drinks green juices daily.
If I could only use one body product for the rest of my life, it would be Josie Maran's Whipped Body Butter in Vanilla Vibezzz. (To me, it smells like supremely expensive vanilla soft serve, if there were such a thing.) It leaves my skin incredibly hydrated for days on end, and I'm addicted to how much firmer and glossier my skin looks.
Kosas's lip liners are so underrated, IMO. The colors are gorge (I'm infatuated with the shades Infinite and Supreme), and there's also a built-in brush and sharpener.
The only liquid liner you'll ever need—period.
My favorite powder highlighter on earth. I like to tap a tiny bit wherever I've gone in with cream or liquid highlighter (like Armani Beauty's Fluid Sheer) to give my face even more dimension and glow. Try the Cupid's bow, the tip of the nose, the highest point of your cheekbones, and underneath the outermost part of your brow bone.
I've tried so many lip masks, but this is the one I always come back to. It plumps and hydrates, so I wake up to the pillowy smooth lips of my dreams, and it also delivers the prettiest dose of nonsticky shine. Sure, it's technically marketed as an overnight lip mask, but I wear it 24/7. (It makes the best topper over a lip stain or lipstick!)
Combine this new serum from One/Size with with Hourglass's cult-loved skin tint I mentioned above, and thank me later. I'm not exaggerating when I say it gives your skin the most ethereal glow. Not only will your skin look like it's been touched by an angle, but the formula's also brimming with complexion-improving vitamins like B12, C, and E, in addition to other strategic ingredients like beta glucan, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and adenosine.
Take it from someone who's been self-tanning since middle school (I'm 31, so you do the math), this is the absolute best option for your face on the market. It doesn't break out my acne prone skin, it fades evenly without any patching, and it delivers the most natural-looking glow.
I'm not a huge gloss girl, but I cannot stop reaching for this addicting formula from Makeup by Mario. The shine is unparalleled, and the sheer pigment gives you that your-lips-but-better oomph. I've already gone through one and a half tubes of the shade called Bare.
I've talked to people of all ages and hair types, and literally everyone agrees that this pre-wash oil treatment from Rōz is completely transformative. I like to keep it in for a full day or night before I shampoo (it's the ultimate sleek hairstyling hack!), but all it really needs is 10 minutes to work its magic.
I was recently on a press trip with a slew of beauty editors, and I kid you not—three different people whipped out this lip balm at the dinner table one night. It's our best-kept secret for angel-soft lips, and now it can be yours, too.
This at-home peel from beloved facialist Shani Darden is the next best thing to getting an actual facial at her dreamy studio in L.A. (Trust me—I've been lucky enough to experience the magic.) Like so many of her celebrity clients, I like to use this peel a couple of times a month whenever my complexion needs a reset. It's basically like hitting the undo button for dullness and uneven skin texture.
Whether you have severe acne or are just after smooth, glass-like skin, this mandelic acid serum from NYC-based facialist Sofie Pavitt will change your life. Oh, and if you're in need of an A+ moisturizer, I'm equally obsessed with her new omega-rich formula.
This buttery bronzing stick from Too Faced blows every other formula I've tried clear out of the water. I love that there are seven shades to choose from—unlike most brands that only offer two to three—and it also plays nicely with other makeup products you've applied, so you're left with a sculpted, ultra-blended finish.
This Australian-made sunscreen brand only recently became available stateside after attaining concrete icon status across the pond. Every beauty editor I know is FTFO, and the formulas are so freaking good, you should be too. This moisturizer and primer hybrid is my top pick, but you can't go wrong with anything from the Ultra Violette family.
You'd think something as simple as an eyelash curler would be hard to eff up, but I'm not kidding when I say this model from Tweezerman is the only one I've used for the last six years or so. It's the ideal shape for my super-round eyes, and it keeps my lashes insanely curled and lifted all day or night.
It took me a full five minutes to decide which product I should recommend from French makeup artist Violette Serrat. These blush sticks might look pretty just sitting on your vanity, but they look even prettier on the skin. Plus, I love that they have a handy blending brush on the opposite side of the blush.
