I'm a Wellness-Obsessed Beauty Editor, and These Are My Under-$200 Amazon Finds
In case you missed it, from March 20 to 25, Amazon is holding a spring sale. Well, to be specific, it's holding a Big Spring Sale. During this time, we can snag some of our favorite fashion, beauty, and wellness products at a serious discount. If that's not an excuse to log into your Amazon account and take advantage of your Prime benefits, I don't know what is.
As a beauty editor, I'm obviously going to shop for my fave skincare, makeup, and hair products. But as someone who's also obsessed with all things wellness, I'm not going to miss out on the opportunity to refresh my routine with supplements, fitness equipment, self-care essentials, and more. After all, I'm more motivated than ever to feel fresh, vibrant, and healthy in the springtime. Without further ado, keep scrolling to snag my top wellness picks while they're on sale!
I swear by Canopy's humidifier. Read my full review for proof. It keeps my skin hydrated, my sinuses clear, and sickness at bay. I run it every night while I sleep, and I'm always sure to add a couple of drops of essential oils to the attached diffuser.
I'm not being dramatic when I say noise-cancelling headphones changed my life. I use them all the time—while getting work done in noisy coffeeshops, on airplanes, and even when I'm working out at the gym. These ones fit comfortably, have Bluetooth capability, and deliver clear, uninhibited sound. I'll never give them up.
This padded headband keeps your hair out of your face while you're applying skincare products. The soft wristbands soak up water so it doesn't run down your arms and make a mess of your bathroom sink while you wash your face. Brilliant.
I struggle to drink enough water. If it's coffee, sure, I'll drink up to three cups a day. But plain old water? I tend to forget to drink it throughout the day and then end up guzzling it in the afternoon because I feel the need to "catch up." That's why I'm snagging these naturally flavored electrolyte packets. Not only will they make me more interested in drinking water, but they also contain an effective combination of electrolytes, trace minerals, and coconut water to keep hydration levels in check. I'll split them up between my gym bag and my carry-on for the next time I travel.
I always keep an ice roller in my freezer. I use it to wake me up in the mornings, to reduce redness and inflammation from sensitivity, and to cool down on really hot summer days. It's such an easy and affordable way to give your skincare routine a boost.
As a beauty editor, I spend a lot of time sitting down at my computer. I recently invested in a standing desk, and I've been dying to add a walking pad to the mix so I can get some steps in while I work. This one is majorly discounted at $100 off the original listing price. It's low-noise, has a remote control, and features an easy-to-see LED display to track your time and distance.
This internet-famous product uses collagen peptides sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows to promote skin, hair, nail, joint, and bone health. Dissolve it into hot or cold beverages and drink it down to reap all the benefits.
I credit a sunrise alarm clock with changing my sleep game and helping me to become a morning person. I set it for 7:30, and each morning, I'm greeted with a soft sound and ambient sunrise-mimicking light to wake up to. It helps me wake up gently and naturally and prevents me from hitting the snooze button. I like that this one is small enough to fit comfortably on a crowded nightstand and doubles as a bedside lamp.
This is another piece of fitness equipment I've seen on Instagram and TikTok. I can't help myself but add this mini stair stepper to my Amazon cart. I've heard that it's great for toning up the legs and getting extra movement in, but honestly, it just looks like something that would be fun and easy to use while I catch up on my favorite shows.
A heating pad might seem like something simple, but I swear it's one of the best wellness products I've ever bought. I use it when I have sore muscles, when I'm achy from a cold, and when I have cramps and a backache during my period. It alleviates soreness and tension so well, and it makes me feel cozy at the same time. Sometimes, I'll drape my heating pad over my neck and shoulders while I read and sip tea just to feel comfortable and prepare myself for sleep. It's the best investment.
A scalp massager is a simple luxury that elevates my haircare routine. I use it to stimulate circulation and encourage hair growth as well as the exfoliate my scalp and make sure my shampoo is reaching every strand.
Some people love protein powder, and some people hate it. I belong somewhere in the middle. While I refuse to drink it with just water, I like to add it to my morning smoothie for a blood sugar–balancing hit of protein, or I'll drink a protein-spiked smoothie after a workout to aid in muscle recovery. I love the way this one tastes, and it offers 25 grams of protein per scoop.
As mentioned before, I don't drink enough water on the daily. That's why I'm investing in a new, cute water bottle to bring everywhere with me. This one hold 32 ounces of water, is vacuum insulated, and is made out of stainless steel. The soft lavender color speaks to me.
I know this might seem unnecessary at best and like a waste of money at worst, but nothing makes your bathroom feel more spa-like than a towel warmer. Before hopping in the shower or bathtub, put your towel, bathrobe, or even a blanket into it. By the time you get out, it'll be ready for you, and you won't have to shiver while you style your hair and do your skincare routine.
Taking care of my eyelashes counts as wellness, right? Well, it definitely counts as self-care, so I'm going with it. This serum dramatically boosts lash growth and density. Who What Wear's editor in chief used it before her wedding, and the results speak for themselves. Now's the perfect time to snag it for a discount.
Repeat after me: The best way to care for your skin (other than wearing sunscreen) is to thoroughly and properly remove makeup and pollution at the end of the day. This iconic French pharmacy product will gently yet effectively get the job done.
