Trust Me, This Expensive-Looking Hair Colour Will Be Everywhere in 2024
We've seen our fair share of hair trends this year, from all manner of bobs to the French pixie haircut, and as we come to the end of 2023, I've been thinking about what trends we can expect to see everywhere in the new year. I have no doubt that bob hairstyles will still be popular, but what hair colours will everyone opt for? I don't know about you, but lately, I've been noticing a lot of people go for warmer, richer hair colours, so when I heard Zoe Irwin, creative director at John Frieda salons, talking about the "Bambi blonde" hair trend, I knew that this would be the hair colour that everyone will be asking for in 2024.
What Is the "Bambi Blonde" Hair Colour Trend?
According to Irwin, this trending colour is a mix of deep honey, fawn and vanilla shades. "Bambi blonde makes a really nice winter blonde," she says, as the blend of tones gives the hair a rich, warm finish. Not only is this colour perfect for existing blondes, but Irwin says it's also a great option for brunettes who want to go a bit lighter. "It’s a layering technique which does away with painstaking highlights in favour of thicker slices of honey, caramel, beige and gold tones that blend seamlessly," she explains.
I don't know about you, but I think this hair colour looks so expensive, and I'll definitely be giving it a go in place of my usual balayage. If you're also thinking about switching up your hair colour for the new year, keep scrolling for lots of Bambi-blonde inspiration.

Even Beyoncé is a fan of the trending hair colour.
These dimensional tones look stunning on curly hair.
I mean, how chic?
Opt for a darker root to keep this colour as low-maintenance as possible…
… don't be afraid to go lighter on the ends though.
You can also add some face-framing highlights.
I love how warm and golden this hair colour looks.

Irwin recommends using a hydrating hair mask on coloured hair, and I love this Briogeo one.
She also says that it's important to use a specific shampoo for coloured hair. Kérastase has created a shampoo and nourishing treatment duo specifically for blonde tones.
For those with naturally curly hair, keep your curls hydrated whilst styling this cream from Pattern.
Hair oil is great for giving your hair a shiny finish, and this one from K18 also works to strengthen your ends.
