Meet the Sneakers Every Fashion Girl Is Maxing Her Credit Card on Today
Whether you consider yourself a fashion fanatic or not, there's no denying the overwhelming presence of the now iconic Balenciaga Triple S sneakers. After watching everyone from celebrities to your best friend obsess over the sneaker style, we were beginning to wonder what Balenciaga had in store for its next big sneaker craze, and today, our curiosity was finally satiated.
As initially seen on only men during on the F/W 18 runway show, Balenciaga finally released the new Track Trainer sneakers in five colors for menswear and two colors for womenswear in selected stores worldwide, just today. Compared to the infamous Triple S sneakers, the new Track Trainers have less bulk, look sportier, and are already a footwear choice we can see Danish girls falling for.
"The Balenciaga Track sneaker," the brand told us, "the next high-tech shoe from Artistic Director Demna Gvasalia, layers high performance elements of hiking and running gear without becoming self-serious: Blown-out features of typical survivalist equipment—extended tread, overlapping protective panels, fortified soles—lend depth to the shoe's outsize appearance and advance its overall utility."
If there's one thing Balenciaga is incredible at, it's generating hype around the product by simply releasing it, meaning today, fashion girls worldwide will be maxing out their credit cards on these new sneakers—trust us. Go on to shop the sneakers in both colors and to see how they were styled on the runway and beyond.
