BAFTA Awards 2017: The Best Dresses on the Red Carpet
The BAFTAs is a tougher awards ceremony than most, particularly when it comes to fashion. While the other biggies (the Golden Globes, the Oscars, etc.) take place in California, the BAFTAs take place in the UK, which means that it's quite often a more complicated affair when it comes to dressing for the red carpet (note: People actually have to wear coats). But that doesn't keep the A-listers from looking incredible. The British event is now in its 70th year and welcomed a host of stars on the red carpet, including the likes of Nicole Kidman and Emily Blunt. While we care about who wins what, one of the main draws for us is seeing the red carpet fashion. And this year didn't disappoint.
From Emma Stone's gorgeous dress-and-trouser combo (hello, new trend alert) to Felicity Jones's black Dior gown, there are plenty of dresses that we know you'll love. Other important gowns of note include Naomie Harris's frothy pink tulle dress and the Duchess of Cambridge's off-the-shoulder floral Alexander McQueen creation.
