Right before the holiday rush, I spent four glorious days in celeb-favorite travel destination, Aspen, for an idyllic snowy getaway with the fashion crowd's favorite activewear brand, Alo. The ski town is unlike any other I've been to, with a captivating sense of style—from the functional-meets-fashionable ski attire to the western-inspired Kemo Sabe cowboy hats, and the luxurious après-ski outfits—Aspen is hands down, the place to "be seen" whether you're on the slopes or hanging out in your hotel lobby.

Alo's latest Alo Atelier winter collection, offered the perfect pieces for my chic winter getaway. From ultra-luxe cashmere sweater sets for lounging; silk pant sets and slip dresses for dinners and evenings out; and sumptuous faux-fur coats and accessories as the perfect finishing touch to my outfits—the collection blends high fashion and high performance with pieces that are suited to the après-ski scene as much as they are for the slopes themselves.

Abby Goron, Chief Design and Merchandising Officer at Alo Yoga explains, "This season, the Alo design house reimagined what a winter holiday would look like if it were spent in Courchevel. We drew inspiration from the chic slopeside attire of decades past and focused intentionally on fabrics that bring the vision to life. From buttery silk sets for morning coziness to performance-driven ski suits that embody movement, to après-ski cashmere for relaxed afternoons, and finally silk dresses and wool coats for elegant evenings, the collection captures 24 hours of winter luxury."

Below, I'm sharing five trends from the Alo Atelier collection that I wore and relished in during my stay in Aspen. Perhaps, the best thing about these pieces is they can truly be mixed and matched thanks to their effortlessly sophisticated silhouettes in a versatile palette of black, ivory, and sand—they can easily be layered together to create multiple looks. The cashmere sets from the Atelier collection feel as luxurious as they look—and were the backbone of most of my daily outfits throughout my stay in Aspen. Elevated, seriously soft, and sleek—these chic sets have become my latest obsession—and are perfect for an après-ski look.
