The Unlikely Place I Go to for Affordable Vintage Online

It's very easy for us as fashion editors to bang on about the importance of shopping sustainably and buying vintage, and while we stand by this sentiment, we also understand that the elevated price tag—and even the elevated time commitment—that comes with investing in such items can be a barrier for many people. Really, if we want to make these changes permanent, we need to find new and easy ways to make conscious consumption more accessible for all budgets.

As a life-long vintage hunter, I can safely say that, for me, buying secondhand is by far one of the most inexpensive ways to achieve this, and over the years I've scoped out all the different options for finding the best pieces. ASOS Marketplace didn't crop up on my radar until quite recently, but once I had a quick scroll, I was hooked. Collating the wares of hundreds of vintage sellers, the site is packed full of affordable throwback buys.

I'll warn you now, though, that there's a lot to go through, but this is where I come in. I did the hard work for you and trawled through the new-in section to find 23 spring-ready pieces. Trust me—it's so worth it to find those gems. From Levi's jeans and statement-collar blouses to designer bags and Burberry trenches, scroll down to see the secondhand buys I found on ASOS Marketplace this week.
