Leather dresses are poised to become a new autumn staple, and they happen to be one of the key trends for autumn/winter 2019. "Leather has become a key player in our wardrobes; it's now much more accessibly priced, and the breadth of styles means we can wear it all year long," wrote Elizabeth von der Goltz, global buying director for Net-a-Porter, in a recent trend report.
A leather dress can feel elevated if it has the right silhouette and fit, which is shown by an ASOS leather-look £65 midi dress that feels really premium. It comes in a rich sand colour, has a zip down the front, puffy sleeves and a panel effect on the skirt. This might have a real autumnal feel, but that doesn't mean people aren't buying and wearing it now.
