You'd Never Guess These Dresses Were From ASOS
As someone who has spent innumerable hours trawling the high street for good occasion wear dresses, I can safely say it ain't no walk in the park. When it comes to winter knitwear or classic white tees, we're spoilt for choice, but finding a dress that achieves that elusive balance of trend-led, flattering and affordable is near impossible. Then I discovered ASOS Edition.
You wouldn't necessarily notice this brand if you were just scrolling through ASOS's new-in section, but once I had identified the link between all the best formal styles, it made hunting for the good stuff so much easier. Simply type "ASOS Edition" into the search bar and see the site's 6855-strong dress offering instantly become an edit of cool, party-ready pieces. They're ideal for everything from weddings to big birthdays.
I decided to call in a couple of the dresses to give them a trial run, and I was actually pretty impressed. No one in the office could believe that the floral embroidered maxi dress wasn't a designer buy (the fit was impeccable and the fabric felt seriously luxe). Meanwhile, the carefully ruched neckline and silky double-layered fabric of the white halterneck gown made it look 10 times the price, and to be quite honest, made me want to get married again just so I could have an excuse wear it.
