Dior Dresses and Fancy Headbands: Inside Archie's Royal Christening

It's the moment we've been all been waiting for: The official pics from Archie's royal Christening are here, and they're even cuter than we could've imagined. After keeping the details of the event largely secret, the world has waited in anticipation to see a second sighting of the young royal whose Christening was held at the private chapel in Windsor Castle. Let's just say, they don't disappoint.

Attended by only 25 guests, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released two photos from the day. One shows the entire family, including Archie's grandparents on both sides, along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Diana's sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. The other is a more intimate snapshot of the couple and Archie together in the Rose Garden at Windsor Castle. Excuse us while we weep a little. 

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son." Reads the Instagram post released today. "They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie."

Meghan wore a simple white Dior gown with quarter length sleeves for the occasion, which she styled with a white hat and nude heels. She also opted for her slicked-back, low bun and subtle makeup beauty look of choice. Kate Middleton, meanwhile rocked a pink (very SS19) Stella McCartney dress and, in keeping with her own Christening look, a statement headband in bright red. We also have to give a shoutout to Doria Ragland who, as always, looked supremely elegant in a peach-coloured coat, dress and matching head wrap.
