The 5 Fall Trends Anna Wintour Would 100% Endorse
Of all the figures in the fashion industry worth tapping for trend advice, Anna Wintour probably ranks high on just about everyone's list. The Vogue editor in chief is a purveyor of all things style, and the very notion of getting to ask her what to wear this fall is exhilarating. The next best thing? An analysis of her personal looks and the fall trends already making an appearance across street style and your favorite shopping site.
Ahead, see the top five fall trends we suspect Anna Wintour would 100% endorse and shop the picks to give your autumnal wardrobe the Wintour stamp of approval.
Python Print
This fall, the animal print of choice seems to be eschewing the traditional cheetah route and going in a reptilian direction—python, to be exact. Wintour has worn the snake-print boots several times throughout the last couple of seasons, and we suspect she's on board with the trend for this fall.
Moody Florals
Designers across the board included moody florals in their fall collections, and thanks to Wintour's affection for color and print, there's no doubt she'll be wearing it this season.
Leather on Leather
Leather for fall is nothing new, but this time around designers showcased how chic it can look when layering multiple leather (or faux-leather) pieces together. Wintour approved? We think yes.
Nostalgic Embellishments
Once cooler temperatures truly kick in, nostalgic silhouettes like ruffled necklines and voluminous sleeves will be everywhere. Wintour always opts for flattering shapes so we bet she'll be wearing this trend all season long.
Pistachio
You're already acquainted with our affinity for the color pistachio (we still think it'll be fall's biggest color trend), and it looks like Wintour is aligned, too.
