A Brand-New Andy Warhol Biopic Is Happening
Andy Warhol may have one of the most recognizable names in the art world. Now he's about to be immortalized on the big screen in a major way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jared Leto is set to play the artist in a new biopic, which Leto will also produce. No word yet on a release date, but you can bet we'll be waiting with bated breath. Thanks to THR, we know the movie boasts some high-caliber talent: Terence Winter, who wrote Leonardo DiCaprio's The Wolf of Wall Street, will write the screenplay.
Of course, Warhol's impact extended way beyond the art world—he was a major player in the fashion scene of the '60s as well. He photographed everyone from Yves Saint Laurent to Diane von Furstenberg, and counted '60s style icon Edie Sedgwick as his muse. Plus, he was a regular at the infamous Studio 54, which was always packed with fashion heavyweights like Halston and Bianca Jagger.

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
