With her wealth of knowledge and very good taste, it's no wonder we had to knock on her virtual door. In this month's column, she shares with us her top tips for buying jewellery. Read on to discover what she has to say…
Quiet-luxury is all the rage right now. At the heart of it, it’s about high-quality clothing, the absence of logos and is wrapped up with the covetable ‘look’ of stealth wealth. Popularised by Succession’s wardrobe stylist Michelle Matland, the understated and relatively modest styling on the show really emphasised how beautifully fitted and constructed clothes speak for themselves. This summer, the growing trend took off further thanks to Sofia Richie Grange’s wedding of the season and with that, the most ‘it girl’ outfits the internet has seen this year. Think vintage Chanel, maxi dresses and minimalist clean lines. The concept goes a lot deeper than the aesthetic that we’ve come to recognise, which is essentially based around a ‘classic’ style with lots of neutrals. Luckily for us, shopping with my Mindful Monday Method is particularly effective when it comes to identifying quiet-luxury fashion that's actually worth investing in and—best of all—without having to fork out £1000 for a cashmere tank top.

The Best Quiet-Luxury Brands:
1. Metier
Here’s a brand that celebrities who epitomise the effortlessly cool look—think Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss—love to wear. Metier London is about ultra high-quality leather craftsmanship and discreet details, recognisable by its tiny brass lock in the shape of a diamond. The everyday handbags are refreshingly wearable; the Roma is a signature piece with two styles of straps. The gold chain worn on the shoulder is perfect for more formal occasions and the leather for a cross body style for a beautifully put-together weekend look.

2. Massimo Dutti
A good pair of linen shorts can go a long way. If you don’t already own a pair, this 100% linen piece from Massimo Dutti has minimalist detailing, with concealed pockets and clean lines. Linen is derived from the flax plant and generally considered lower impact than cotton as it requires less irrigation. It’s a breathable fabric known for its unique texture. Trade out the denim shorts for these and throw on some leather mules, if you’re going for a luxe day time outfit.

3. Attire
Founded by super influencer Xenia Adonts, this brand holds the gold standard in sustainable fashion, thanks to its transparency and dedication to biodegradable materials across its collection. Its newest offering is a restrained and elegant assortment of gowns. The streamlined silhouette and soft buttercream hued silk makes this a truly understated piece that looks and feels expensive. Wear it this summer with statement sandals and stacked bangles.

4. With Nothing Underneath
This UK based brand specialises in the perfect shirt, with various cuts to complement your desired silhouette. It’s one of the few that offers sustainable alternatives in that it’s relatively small production in audited factories, high-quality natural fabrics and no synthetic, not even for the buttons, which are typically made of corozo nut or mother of pearl depending on the style. Any of the brand's shirts easily assimilate into the quiet-luxury look but there’s something about a striped Oxford that’s quintessentially English summer. Finally, a very chic touch is the embroidery service that’s offered at With Nothing Underneath.

5. Baudoin and Lange
This has to be one of the most underrated quiet-luxury shoe brands I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. A great telltale sign is that these classic staples are recognisable not by a logo but by their signature shape. We’ve seen the loafer go through countless trend-led iterations, from chunky to embroidered, but the ones that always remain are the classic leather or suede options that are wearable while relaxing in the countryside or traipsing around the city.
