& Other Stories Just Updated and Restocked Its Most Popular Dress

Sometimes a dress comes along that beats all other dresses. It might be for how showstopping it is (like a Cecilie Bahnsen or Molly Goddard flouncy number), and sometimes it’s for its wide appeal and how incredibly versatile it is (think about that Zara polka-dot number from back in 2019). Well, this year, & Other Stories has its own answer to the easy, throw-on style, and it comes in the form of a flowy, puff-sleeve midi dress

A version of the dress has actually featured in the high-street brand’s spring collections for the past few years now, each with a slight variation—a longer sleeve or a straighter neckline—but with the same flattering shirring, flowy skirt, and pretty array of prints every time. It’s always proved to be one of the brand’s best sellers, and the 2022 version shows no sign of being any different.

With cute short sleeves, light fabric, and a sweetheart neckline, the dress’s magic lies in how versatile it is. Pair it with trainers and a leather jacket for a pub garden or strappy heeled sandals and take it to a wedding or summer occasion with ease. But it’s also designed to suit a range of body types. Curves or no curves, boobs or not, the dress flatters in all the right places.

Unsurprisingly, it’s already one of the most popular dresses we’ve featured on Who What Wear this season, selling like hotcakes when we got a glimpse of the spring weather to come last week. So when I walked past the store on my way to the office this week, I couldn’t help popping in and trying it on to see if it was as good in real life as it looks online. (Spoiler: It was.) If you’re thinking about investing, my tip would be to size up if you’re between sizes for a comfortable fit. Otherwise, I was very impressed all around.

Keep scrolling, and you can shop all the colorways of the dress online now, as well as the wrap version and a few other easy-to-wear dresses & Other Stories is nailing right now.

I'm a big wrap-dress fan. This beautiful style came up bigger than the other design, so size down if you have a smaller chest like I do, or take your usual size otherwise.
