First of all, if you're not signed up for the & Other Stories email newsletter, get on it. It's where I've found some of my favorite pieces from the brand (like this sacred dinosaur cardigan). So it wasn't too surprising that today's email blast contained my latest purchase: the best off-white dress I've seen in quite some time. Although I'm not much of an impulse shopper anymore (I'm reformed!), I bought it immediately. When you know, you know.
The dress in question perfectly embodies a trend I've discussed extensively on Who What Wear: oversize dresses (see here and here). They're everywhere right now, which you probably have all the cool Scandinavian girls to thank for. & Other Stories is good at a lot of things, including party dressing, and this dress is the perfect piece to wear to those events that will soon populate your calendar. But I, for one, am not waiting for holiday party season to wear the tiered, puff-sleeved, jacquard number. I plan on pairing it with knee boots or black tights and ankle boots ASAP.
