The first Monday in May has finally arrived. As the fashion industry's Super Bowl, the Met Gala is unquestionably the most highly anticipated event on the calendar. What other soirée could draw so many heavy hitters of the fashion industry to one place? (No offense, Oscars.) This year's theme is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," and the exhibition includes his designs for Chanel, Chloé, Fendi, and others.
