Amal Clooney Joined the Fan Club of This Major Denim Trend

Truth be told, Amal Clooney doesn't often wear jeans, usually opting for sheath dresses and skirt suits to match her distinguished career as an international law attorney and activist. But on her off time, she likes to mix things up and take the latest trends out for a spin, which we love her for.

This week was one of the rare occasions that Clooney did wear jeans, and she went for a complete '70s look, down to her platform shoes, and boho fringed shoulder bag. She chose a pair of flared jeans, and a cropped marigold top to complete the look, but they weren't just any flared jeans. They were intricately embroidered flared jeans, from Alice and Olivia's pre-fall 2016 collection, which are sadly now sold out. We've had our eyes firmly planted on embroidered jeans as of late, and so have other stylish celebs like Lauren Conrad and Olivia Palermo

While you can certainly pair colorful embroidered jeans with neutrals, you can also go bolder à la Clooney and wear something that picks up a hue that's present in the embroidery. Either way, embroidered denim is everywhere right now so you might as well join her.
