Alexa Chung Just Found the Flat Shoes That Go With Literally Everything
Anything Alexa Chung wears, we generally want to wear, too. And her latest look is no exception.
If there's one word that makes me move from wish list to checkout, it's versatility, and Alexa Chung just proved that these shoes go with everything. With summer well under way, I've been looking for a great pair of flats that will go with throw-on dresses during warmer months and suit jeans or trousers when the season shifts. Luckily, I came across Chung's Instagram post just in time to be enticed by her go-to flats.
Alexa Chung’s latest flat-shoe-and-dress outfit whipped up a social media frenzy the moment she posted.
When it comes to unearthing great shoes, Alexa Chung certainly has a knack for it. Over the years of setting the style agenda, Chung has been known to love a ballet flat or dainty shoe to finish her most inspiring looks, and our team of editors (myself included) has been influenced by her most recent pair—Le Monde Beryl's Mary Jane flats. Not only are these shoes compatible with every outfit combination, but they also come in an array of colours and fabrics, including jewel-toned velvet iterations as well as sleek leather neutral tones, giving minimalists and maximalists alike plenty of options.
It wasn’t the first time Alexa Chung wore Le Monde Beryl flats either—she also owns them in navy.
The flat Mary Jane has elements of classic shoe designs with a modern touch through fabric and colour. The sleek slipper style works just as well with bare feet as it does with socks, as proven by Alexa. However you style them, these flat shoes can go from city stroll to island adventure in an instant. Keep scrolling to shop my pick of the prettiest Le Monde Beryl's Mary Jane flat shoes to shop now.
