2 Editors Weigh In on Their Favorite New Arrivals for Spring
Sponsor Content Created With AG
Spring is around the corner (10 more days!) and I can finally let myself get excited. While some are eager for the sun to set later and the chance to lie out on warm beach days, I have my focus on the exciting new fashion pieces this season brings: jeans in particular. Retailers have been bringing the heat with trendy items I'm buying faster than my wallet would like, but I'm especially drawn to the selection from my go-to denim brand, AG.
Not only does the classic brand carry skinny, straight-leg, flare, and boot-cut styles that will send you into an add-to-cart frenzy, but it also has a selection of pieces to pair with them that are nothing short of perfection. And it's not just me who's obsessed: The buzz of its new arrivals is a popular topic among my co-workers. Curious to know what we have our eye on? Keep scrolling to see the pieces we're loving.
Shopping during this time of year is always fun for me because there's really no limit to what I can buy. It'll be sunny one minute, then chilly the next, so my style is all about staying prepared (while also remaining true to my trendy look). I'm currently shopping for things I know I'll wear a ton, like denim jackets, straight-leg jeans, and maxi dresses.
Skinny jeans had their moment in my closet, but lately, I've been leaning toward the trendy straight-leg style. I feel like they're an easy way to elevate my look without even really trying.
I have plenty of tees in my closet, but I can tell you what I don't have: one with this unique collar situation! I love this style because I can easily wear it by itself or layer it under a jacket.
The secret to a perfectly tucked top? A bodysuit. Seriously, if I could turn all my shirts into bodysuits, I would. This one is especially perfect because it can be worn day or night, under jeans or a skirt, by itself or with a blazer—anything you want.
I have a thing for maxi dresses, so of course, I was instantly drawn to this one. The casual silhouette makes me want to jump in it, throw on my favorite sneakers, and never change.
I have yet to try the Bermuda shorts trend. However, this denim pair would be a good way to start. Not only are they a color that would look good with everything I own, but they also look incredibly comfortable. I can easily wear them from the week to the weekend.
A denim jacket is the ruler of all things when it comes to layering, so it's essential to have a good one in your closet. Since my thrift-store find is on its last leg, I'm opting for a stylish upgrade with this one from AG.
I can't really categorize my style because it changes on the daily. Some days I wake up wanting to wear color, whereas others I want to stay in the neutral zone. Sometimes I want to be more trendy, but a lot of the time I want to be classic. I don't like feeling constrained in any way, so I just try to go with the flow day by day. This is why I like to stock my closet with staples that are easy to style in a number of ways, from jumpsuits to cropped jeans.
Is there anything more versatile than a jumpsuit? I think not. If I owned this, I would 100% wear it every single day and not even be ashamed about it. You can dress it up with a sleek pair of mules and a leather jacket or keep things casual with a cool pair of sneakers.
I live in cropped jeans (I'm fairly short, people!), and always opt for darker washes because I don't trust myself to stay clean in white. But these are just too good to say no to.
I have way too many denim jackets but somehow don't own a cropped style. This one is giving me all the vintage feels, and I would wear it with super-high-waist jeans and a casual tee.
I love a good tee, and this feels like the elevated version my closet has been missing. It's the type of top that can go from day to night all because of the nice wrap and tie detail.
Jean skirts—both mini and long—are going to be major for spring, and I love the color-blocked denim paneling on this high-waist style. It makes it feel more unique and a little retro: two things I always look for in my clothes.
My denim collection is full of cropped styles, and I only have one full-length pair, which is crazy. So my goal is to buy a few more longer styles, and I'm starting with this high-waist pair. It's the perfect vintage wash and has just the right amount of distress throughout.
