I Made 6 Chic Summer Outfits Using Under-$100 Items From Nordstrom and H&M
The spring and pre-summer items continue to cruise into the new arrivals sections at our go-to stores. And yes, two of said shops just so happen to be Nordstrom and H&M. While I recently highlighted a range of key products I'm loving at the retailers, I thought I'd take the next few moments to not only list some of the noteworthy items out there right now, but curate said pieces into chic outfits as well.
Below you'll uncover six stylish ensembles I think could be of interest. The looks are all unique in their own right and could work for different styles, but share similarities in that they're all made up of individual items that cost under $100. The items incorporated in the mix include everything from trend-forward basics to cute separates to standout accessories. With all that in mind, keep scrolling for a few outfit ideas to consider this season.
Inspired by the look above, this ensemble is easy and fresh with the trend-forward oversize white button-down and tank underneath. Distressed jeans complete the vibe with of-the-moment heeled flip-flops.
The split-hem pants and top work flawlessly alone with sandals, and the addition of the slouchy blazer elevates the silhouette even more.
It's still all about the sweater-vest. Consider wearing on its own as an alternative to a tee or tank with denim shorts and fun accessories.
Make a statement with a longline vibrant top half-buttoned with cute ribbed shorts underneath.
A bustier-inspired top looks forward with a printed midi skirt and sneakers. If it's slightly chilly, toss on a lightweight trench coat.
You just can't go wrong with a floral dress for an effortless summer ensemble. An anklet and sandals enhance this outfit even more.
