Looking at the calendar and realizing that we’re just over a week away from New Year’s Eve totally shook me to my core. Everyone I’ve spoken to agrees that this year went by faster than ever. That’s a good thing, by the way, but somehow on my long list of to-dos, finding a New Year’s Eve outfit totally slipped my mind. This time of year, I’m on a bit of a budget given that I’m traveling home for the holidays and treating all of my loved ones to a nice gift. I’ve set a budget of $150, and I plan to shop for items that I can style with what I already have. Of course, I’m insistent on bringing you along with me on this shopping journey.

I’m mainly looking for statement dresses, feathers, and sequins. I’m not afraid of a little cliché. I’ve romanticized New Year’s Eve in my head for weeks, and I’m planning to make the most of it. If you’re in the same boat, shop the items I’ve found that will actually arrive on time for the special day.
