Summer 2023 is all about a good skirt. A midi or maxi skirt, to be particular. It's time for miniskirts to move over and for the rise of longer hemlines to commence. As someone on the shorter side, I have always leaned toward a miniskirt (If I'm honest, I'm trying to stretch out the little amount of leg I have). But maxi and midi skirts have been my go-to lately. Whether I want a more dressed-up look for the weekend or am styling an outfit for the office, I'm all about a great maxi or midi skirt. My favorite thing about maxi and midi skirts is how versatile they are.

You can pair them with your favorite white tank or baby tee, sneakers, and cool sunglasses and look super put together or dress them up with a strapless top and kitten heels. Midi and maxi skirts are perfect for chic summer dressing, whether that means date night, happy hour, a day at the park, or going to the office. While building my midi and maxi skirt collection, I wanted to focus on affordable options that would work with pieces I already had in my closet. I found 30 midi and maxi skirts that checked all my boxes and happened to be under $150.

Keep scrolling to see which affordable and chic midi and maxi skirts I can't wait to wear this summer.
