Let's be honest. H&M, Mango, and Zara dominate trends. I feel like as soon as I spot something new on the horizon, they're already in the process of spinning their wheels and making the magic happen. But have you ever walked into those stores hoping to find something exciting and end up walking away with nothing? I have. The wide variety of product assortment can be quite overwhelming. Sifting through racks and scrolling through pages can start to feel like a chore.

Well, today, you're in luck. I've done all of the heavy lifting for you and hand-selected just a few trends that are really the only ones that matter if you're looking to build out an impressive wardrobe. This is the year of winning best dressed, and you'll be able to do just that with ease after a quick scroll through these trends that will have major staying power (and happen to be quite budget-friendly). You'll want to wear these pieces from now through December and then on. So get to scrolling.

H&M

Updated Tailoring

We've all been loving tailoring for some time now, but 2022 is all about adding a unique twist to those classic staples. That can mean anything from larger-than-life pockets to cutout details on your pristine pants.

Pretty Pleats

We're used to pleats taking on standard size and shape, but if you haven't taken the time to experiment with plissé or wide-set pleats, then why not start off the year with a little experiment? Below, you'll see how easily these delicate folds can upgrade your favorite T-shirt silhouette or midi skirt.

MANGO

Elevated Cutouts

If you know me, you know I love cutouts. Just slice and dice up any fashion item, and I'm head over heels. The trend carries into 2022, and there is still more than one way to approach it. Side cutouts and backless numbers are my personal favorite.

Geometric Prints

Even people who aren't big fans of prints are falling in love with the geometric styles that are currently ruling the streets. The combinations of lines and shapes are eerily futuristic and certainly worth buying into.

ZARA

Saturated Colors

Your wardrobe is about to give you major déjà vu. Remember those highlighter packs you used to swap colors with friends in elementary school? Well, as adults, those bright colors are making their way back into our lives this time in the shape of clothing that hangs very beautifully in our closets.

Unique Knits

We certainly love our knits and hold on to them dearly. They've received numerous updates over the years, and in 2022, they're anything but what you'd expect. You'll be sure to find them in unique shapes and forms like fun twists, midi skirt, and an extremely chic coat.

And I can't leave you without sharing the rest of my wish list:
