I'm Predicting These 3 Denim Trends Will Dominate in 2025

Hot take: Your wardrobe isn't complete without multiple pairs of denim jeans. It sounds like a no-brainer, but good denim is, in my humble opinion, seriously underrated. Having a pair of jeans that fits you just right might be the best feeling in the world, and said feeling makes getting dressed a breeze. After all, a trusty pair of straight-leg jeans paired with a T-shirt is the easiest way to look put together in a pinch.

As a passionate jeans lover, I often turn to Mavi to refresh my rotation here and there (it was named one of TIME's Best Companies in Sustainable Growth for 2025, FYI). And now that we're nearing the new year, I've turned my attention to shopping next year's denim trends from the brand's super comfortable and eco-friendly denim.

The style of jeans you prefer comes down to personal preference, but experimenting with the trend cycle can be a fun way to try on something new. Case in point: Last year's barrel jean craze. In 2025, straighter styles will be popular, but not the pin-straight styles that millennials and Gen Z may remember. Rather than full-leg baggy, wide-leg and flared cuts will make a comeback, coinciding with the boho revival. In short: There's lots of denim to be excited about. Ready to get a head start?
