Wedding ceremonies have looked a little different over the past couple of years, but if you're anything like us, you'll now have invitations coming in by the handful for 2022 celebrations. Being fashion editors, we can't help but plan our outfits way ahead of time, and thankfully, there's plenty to choose from this season whether you're in the market for a sleek dress or a flowing floral maxi.

There are various factors to consider when choosing an outfit for an important event: the venue, the dress code, the weather, and even how long the ceremony is going to last. Then, there's the sheer number of dress options to choose from (not to mention the tailored and jumpsuit alternatives). From lace and chiffon to silk and organza, we really are spoilt for choice.

More than anything else, we're just excited about getting dressed up again, putting on heels (never thought we'd hear ourselves saying that), and painting the town red. So really, we'd be happy in anything that doesn't come with a matching knitted top.

However, we want to make sure we don't merely get distracted by anything sparkly and instead opt for pieces we will continue to wear for many years to come. Focusing our energy on frocks, scroll on down to get all the wedding guest dress inspiration you could ever need, neatly categorized by type of dress.
