Zendaya may be the ultimate beauty chameleon, rocking bixies, blue eye shadow, and spidery lashes like nobody's business, but when it comes to her fragrance wardrobe, she's much more of a loyalist. In an interview with Vogue, the award-winning actress revealed that she's actually worn the same perfume since the 2025 Met Gala ("I kept getting compliments on it, so it became my signature scent," she shares), and she's not alone! Allow me to confirm: Prada Paradoxe Intense is indeed worth the hype. Richer than the original floral, as the intense version dials up the ambery-jasmine warmth, it has a more mysterious, seductive quality that only gets better with wear. On that note, the fragrance can't help but garner endless praise with every spritz. Just ask the hundreds of individuals WWW associate beauty editor Alyssa Brascia polled to uncover the most "attractive" fragrances in the dating game. As she declares, "There was no perfume recommended by NYC daters more frequently (and more passionately) than Prada Paradoxe Intense." One New York publicist told her they've "never been complimented more" while wearing the scent, while another editor adds that "Prada [Paradoxe] Intense has grabbed compliments from dates and many taxi drivers alike." It's literally an aphrodisiac, so it's no wonder it also earned a spot on our list of best "date night" perfumes.

All that being said, I can totally see why Zendaya considers Prada Paradoxe Intense a number-one favorite. However, that title might soon be eclipsed by Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry, the brand's latest iteration featuring a fruity-floral composition of blackcurrant syrup, neroli milk, and orange blossom absolute. The star was just announced as the face of the new fragrance, so it's safe to say the indulgent scent has made it into her weekly rotation. Does it earn just as many compliments? Time will tell, but if Zendaya swapped it for her go-to signature, I'd say that's a very good sign.

Micaela Erlanger always knew deep down that she wanted to be a stylist. "I think I always knew I wanted to be in a creative field, and in my core being, I always knew I wanted to be a stylist, but I didn't know that the world of styling existed at the time," Erlanger said. She got her start working on the editorial side at publications such as Harper's Bazaar before taking the leap into styling. For the latest episode of The Who What Wear Podcast, Erlanger shares how she made that transition, what it was like to work with Lupita Nyong'o on The Odyssey's press tour, and more.

Can you give our audience a top-level background on how you first found your way into fashion and styling?

I think I always knew I wanted to be in a creative field, and in my core being, I always knew I wanted to be a stylist, but I didn't know that the world of styling existed at the time. It was through a series of internships in college, really, where I discovered the world of editorial.

I got my start as an intern at various publications. I was in the Condé Nast summer intern program and then worked at Hearst for a bunch of magazines. [I] really learned the ropes there, working as an intern in the fashion closet and, ultimately, working as a freelance fashion assistant to the fashion directors at Harper's, at Cosmo, et cetera. That's really where I cut my teeth on all things styling.

It was later on where I met my mentor Annabel Tollman, who I worked with for just over six years. At the time, she was really pioneering the celebrity-styling space. I learned so much from her, and that's really what set me forth on this path.

One of the things that has been such a joy to watch from afar is your relationship with Lupita Nyong'o, going all the way back to her campaign that led to the Oscar for 12 Years a Slave in 2014 and that perfect powder-blue Prada gown. Now, 12 years after that momentous look, you are back on another press tour with her for The Odyssey. Obviously, she, like many of your clients, is very long-term. I'm curious about your relationship and the styling choices that you make together and how they have evolved over the years.

I'm so grateful for this relationship, and I'm so lucky that I can count my client also as a dear friend. Our collaboration is really rooted in this deep trust and mutual respect for one another.

That first year out the gate was momentous for every reason. Not only did her talent earn her the Academy Award, but the choices that we made, I think, also reflected how important image is and how the red carpet can really catapult somebody … and what brand positioning looks like—why choosing a dress is important and intentional and strategic. After that year, we really found our groove. Fast-forward, this is 12 years later. It's insane to think about. We're on this new, massive, momentous press tour with an extraordinary cast, and we really got to play.

Talk to me about the very first look for the very first press day. How did you land on that look to kick things off?

That was actually a look that I had custom-made that I had been hanging on to for quite some time. It was Sally LaPointe. I didn't know where it was going to go and where it might fit into this tour.

Oftentimes, I see something, and I'm like, "Yep, that's the look. I know it's going to work out. [I] don't know where it's going, but just have faith and give me a little bit of time and watch it land." It's awesome when that happens, when the right look winds up in the right location for the right photographed moment. This felt like the perfect look to kick off the tour with. I always think the first outfit that's photographed also sets the tone and the narrative for the visual story that you're going to tell, and I loved everything about this.

I also want to talk about Nyong'o's New York premiere look—down to the bag. How did you think through New York, and what was the strategy behind it?

We tried this gown on, and it was spectacular. I worked with Nicholas Oakwell many years ago when he first launched his couture house, and I'm so happy that he's back in action making the most exquisite work.

It was interesting. The inspiration of the dress was actually written in the lookbook, and it, too, tied back to mythology and story. That just felt like it was meant to be. But you never know until you get something into the studio and until you try it on and you see how it fits.

I'm in a love-hate relationship with my hair at the moment. A new Stassi Schroeder era has officially arrived. A few weeks ago, I hung out with Schroeder for a fun project (more on that later), and I could immediately feel a new, electric energy radiating from her—not just because of her flawless outfit. (FYI, she was wearing chic white barrel pants, a black tank with a coordinating knit draped over her shoulders, and ballet-inspired heels.) That undeniable excitement? It's all leading up to the highly anticipated premiere of House of Stassi, her brand-new Freeform and Hulu series.

Schroeder iconically teases at the end of the first trailer, "This time, I get to go back and do it, but on my terms. What could go wrong?" She's, of course, referring to her Vanderpump Rules past as she transitions into her own spotlight. The new series promises an unfiltered look at her life as a mom, wife, author, and podcaster. Expect to see plenty of familiar faces from her inner circle—like Katie Maloney, Kristina Kelly, and Taylor Strecker—along with her husband Beau Clark, their kids, and her sister Georgi.

In honor of the premiere, Schroeder celebrated at The Corner Store in New York City and let me in on her getting-ready process before the event in her hotel room—complete with caviar and chicken tenders.

The primary fashion goal for the evening? Go all out. "It's House of Stassi premiere night. We had to go all out. You know how I always used to make a big deal about my birthday on national TV? Forget birthdays. Now, it's about my premiere party. It's my fucking premiere party, people!" Schroeder told me. She went on to explain the specific vibe for the party. "I'm giving chic raven. I look like your worst enemy showing up to your funeral, and I wouldn't change a thing. The dress is by Nué Studio, and I simply never want to take it off," she said.

Her number one rule when dressing for a big event? "The hair always has to match the vibe perfectly. Hair can make or break an outfit. That's why we had to use the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil to make sure my hair still had that perfect gloss effect, even with a messy updo," she explained.

House of Stassi premieres on July 29 on Freeform, and you can stream the series the next day on Hulu. If you love her premiere look (obviously), you're going to adore the fashion in the show. "Expect fashion that says, 'classic, elevated, and just intimidating enough.' Think elevated neutrals, chic monochrome moments, and enough chocolate brown, cream, and white to last you a lifetime. It's polished, it's effortless looking (which means it definitely wasn't effortless), and it's proof that being 'basic' is only an insult if you don't do it exceptionally well," she said. I'm here for it. Now, excuse me while I stop working and sit on my couch with a glass of pinot grigio—no, sauvignon blanc—for House of Stassi. Byeee.

Summer’s languid pace is a natural decelerator for the speed at which the hypersonic trend cycle moves, and no category feels this change more than jewellery. When we’re preoccupied with trying to figure out which Mediterranean destination to visit for Euro summer, the chicest new hot spot to sip a glass of pét nat at or deciding which balmy dress will earn our affection, there’s less demand for new styling techniques or fresh silhouettes.

Given the timeless nature of jewellery, there are often far fewer cries for novel creations and new designs anyway, so when a specific bracelet or earring breaks through and becomes mainstream, we pay attention. This summer, it’s apparent that pendant necklaces are the only summer jewellery trend of note.

Though more discerning shoppers might tell you about their investments in polished torque chokers or ‘90s-inspired bicep bracelets, the majority of fashion people are all collectively gravitating towards boho-esque pendants that are fixed to cords and sit lower around their décolletage. Influenced by Elsa Peretti’s work for Tiffany & Co., this style ranges from the organically shaped to the more practical, but none is more enduring than the simple shell necklace.

Indeed, after cropping up over the last few summers, this season feels like shell necklaces have finally hit a fever pitch, spotted on the most tasteful in New York, London, Copenhagen and Mallorca. This time around, this trend is rendering scallop and cockle shells into wearable art, be it through pearlescent pieces that swing from lustrous cords, similar to the ones brought out by Jennifer Behr, or the silver styles seen at Juju Vera.

Summer is always a time to take a literal approach to dressing, which is why you’ll always see pieces like fisherman sandals or crochet skirts emerge time after time. (Though, wearing these right now might have you looking like an extra from Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey.)

Viral aesthetics like surf-core, which takes cues from nostalgic early 2000s films like Blue Crush and Point Break, are also proving how easy it is to dress for hot weather by slipping into a pair of boardshorts and chunky flip-flops. But for those wanting something a little sleeker, the shell necklace is a chicer way to acknowledge your desire to be by the coast, even if you are staying in the city.

I'm not much of a dress or skirt person, which usually isn't a problem as I keep a brimming rotation of jeans and linen trousers close at hand all summer long. But with the spell of heatwaves showing few signs of letting up, even my go-to linen pairs are feeling far too warm. So, rather than forcing myself into dresses, I'm taking styling cues from some of the chicest women in their 30s and 50s, who have been embracing a surprising trouser trend that's actually heatwave-proof.

Not a trend I ever expected to go mainstream, sheer trousers have suddenly become one of the season's coolest buys. Just this week, I spotted Tracee Ellis Ross wearing a sculptural sheer pair that ballooned through the leg before tapering at the ankle. Styled with towering black heels and an elegant tank top, Tracee's pared-back take on summer styling felt fuss-free yet distinctly modern.

Confirming the trend's momentum, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was also spotted swapping classic opaque linen trousers for a semi-sheer striped pair this week. Leaning into the striped trouser trend that's been gathering pace all season, she gave it a 2026 update by choosing a subtly transparent finish that felt fresh without being over the top.

Whether paired with elevated basics for evening or dressed down with relaxed separates during the day, they're shaping up to be one of the easiest trends to wear through the hottest weeks of summer.

Is there anything quite like a European summer? Every year without fail, the continent comes alive with a vivacious energy that only comes with guaranteed sun, and as ever, Brits are making the most of it. The picturesque backdrops have transformed into an open-air runway, with the fashion set and locals alike heading to the coasts in their best ensembles. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about how to make an outfit feel more considered without actually adding more to it. Not more pieces, not more trends, not more effort. Just better decisions. The difference between an outfit that feels fine and one that feels elevated is usually something small—a shift, a tweak, one intentional detail that makes everything else make more sense. If there's one rule I follow, it's this: Every outfit needs a point of view. Lately, that's been a statement necklace or shoes thrown on with the most basic combination—white tee, jeans, flip-flops. The outfit itself is intentionally simple, almost understated. But the second you add something slightly bold, it changes the entire read. It doesn't have to be jewelry. It could be a belt, a shoe, or a bag. The key is letting one piece carry the look so everything else can stay effortless.

2. Steam It—Yes, Even a White Tee or Tank

This might be the least exciting tip, but it makes the biggest difference. A crisp white tee with white jeans will always look more elevated than anything wrinkled—no matter the price point. Clean, pressed fabric signals intention. In the summer, when everything is lighter and more minimal, this matters even more. It's the difference between "I just threw this on" and "This works."

3. Lean Into Monochromatic Dressing

When in doubt, wear one color. Head-to-toe white, black, or soft neutrals always read more elevated. It simplifies everything visually and makes the outfit feel cohesive without trying too hard. I've been especially into all-white lately—white tank, white denim, simple sandals. It feels fresh, clean, and very summer but still polished. The outfits I come back to most always have a slight contrast. Athletic shorts with kitten heels. Tailored trousers with a tank top and flip-flops. Linen paired with something structured. I spent years looking for the perfect bikini. And once, as a tween, I found it. Somehow, on a family holiday, I left the bottom half on Prince Edward Island, never to be seen again. I can still picture it: a tiny coral floral print, perfectly cut. To this day, I regret not going back for it; I curse my parents for forcing me to abandon the lost bottom somewhere in those red sands at sunset. The itsy-bitsy teenie-weenies of my twenties still occupy a sentimental corner of my underwear drawer; a tangled nest of strings, bright colours and tiny triangles. They quietly keep each other company now, because these days, I’m a one-piece evangelist.

Why? For starters, it's simply less faff. You buy one size; the one that fits you. None of the endless mix-and-match sizing to accommodate your uniquely specific chest situation, which rarely bears any relation to your hips. No acrobatic strap adjustments. No underwires. No deciphering a web of criss-cross ties whilst your friends are already in the water. When I arrive at a lake, pool or beach, I’m usually desperate to dive straight in, so the last thing I want is to spend precious minutes negotiating my swimwear. The one-piece, by comparison, is blissfully uncomplicated.

It also stays put. There are few things less glamorous than emerging from a wave only to discover you’ve become the afternoon’s entertainment. A good one-piece allows you to swim properly; to dive under waves, race a friend to the buoy, launch yourself off a dock or paddle blissfully for hours, without once worrying that half of your swimwear is about to float off on its own. Which is fitting, really, for swimming is one of life’s greatest pleasures precisely because it exists between leisure and sport. It is at once deliciously languid and quietly athletic: equal parts relief, freedom and movement. A one-piece honours both sides of that equation. It lets you show off your style if you wish, but it also, crucially, lets you actually swim.

I've always associated the one-piece with a certain athletic glamour. I still think about Patrick Demarchelier’s A Swimmer’s Body editorial for Harper’s Bazaar in the late '90s, styled by Tonne Goodman, where the swimsuit felt less like beachwear than a uniform for an impossibly elegant athletic life. Here, sport met seduction in the most desirable way possible. Perhaps that’s why it also makes me think of my grandmother, queen of no-nonsense elegance. She appreciated a garment that was both practical and impossibly chic. I never saw her bathe in the lake in anything other than a simple black one-piece, cut just so to her figure, as she lowered herself in on the ladder before splashing backwards and declaring, "Isn’t it delicious!"

Plus, somehow—and I cannot explain this scientifically—I also think the one-piece suits my very short hair far better, particularly once it’s wet and slicked back after a swim. Another reason I’ve become such an evangelist is that it solves the perennial beach-day wardrobe dilemma. A one-piece isn’t just swimwear; it’s half an outfit already. Where a bikini often calls for a proper cover-up before lunch or cocktails (unless you’re in Rio de Janeiro, where I was delighted to discover women happily stroll around in bikini tops all day—and quite right too), a one-piece slips effortlessly into the rest of your wardrobe. I simply throw on a silky sarong, a pair of fisherman sandals, relaxed black trousers or white cotton shorts and I’m done. No outfit change required.

That’s because the best one-pieces don’t really behave like swimwear at all, but rather an excellent bodysuit. A minimalist black style disappears under linen trousers as elegantly as any tank top. A sporty racerback looks entirely at home with Bermuda shorts, trainers and socks on a day spent chasing children. A plunging halterneck becomes eveningwear with a silk skirt and gold jewellery. The swimsuit doesn’t dictate the mood; it simply adapts to it. Perhaps that’s why I think of a really good one-piece as an investment rather than a holiday purchase. It’s a swimsuit, yes, but it’s also a top, one that happens to survive salt water. Granted, gynaecologists would probably advise against spending an entire day in a wet swimsuit, and that’s why I pack two.

I counted recently and realised I own more than 30 one-pieces. Some are minimalist and architectural, others channel surfer-girl nostalgia in bold colours and a few feature plunging necklines worthy of a Slim Aarons poolside photograph. I love every one of them, and after every swim I dutifully rinse them in fresh water and lay them flat to dry, hoping to extend their lives for another season. Fortunately, many of my favourite swimwear labels reissue their signature one-pieces year after year. The classics, it seems, endure.

My favourites include Matteau, Lido, Lido X Soeur, Banana Moon, Talia Collins and, of course, Eres. And whilst I've accepted that I'll never recover that long-lost floral bikini from Prince Edward Island, I’ve stopped searching for the perfect swimsuit. I found it—it just turned out to only have one piece.

After sparking dating rumors in the summer of 2025, the WWW cover star and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback are deciding on forever. Having just wrapped up the tour for her third studio album, Locket, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Beer was certainly already riding on a high—making her engagement to Herbert an even sweeter conclusion to a monumental month in her career. If there's one person I am dying to interview as a beauty editor, it's Nina Park. The makeup artist has painted some of the most famous faces in the industry, including Zoë Kravitz, Kaia Gerber, Sadie Sink and Emma Stone. Whilst each makeup look is perfection, there's one particular part that has people talking more than anything else. Lipstick.

The "Nina Park Lip" has become an icon in its own right, and if you follow the makeup artist on Instagram, you'll know why. This summer, I made one resolution: looking as polished as possible. I've never been one to follow trends, preferring instead to buy pieces that stand the test of time, but in every new season, I inevitably find a few trends that naturally fit into my personal style and end up leaning into them. I very much want a croc-effect bag. Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner have both been carrying the same one from Chanel, which is the dream version of it. I also noticed them at a recent Clare V. fall press preview.

Tapestry Designs

The first moment this ornate trend entered my orbit was when Alexa Chung wore a silk taffeta Viktor Gichev coat with fur trim last year. Now, looking back at the fall 2026 shows, this tapestry-style clothing was all over the runway shows—from a Conner Ives dress to a statement car coat that looked more like art.

Playful Tights

The most accessible option on my fall wish list is playful tights. Red has been the It color of previous years, and white started taking off last season. On the fall 2026 runways, white tights with polka dots were at Caro Editions, vibrant blue at Jil Sander, and ribbed cashmere at The Row.

Basque-Waist Dresses

I wear a lot of dresses, so I appreciate when a design choice that makes them feel unique, such as the basque-waist trend, comes along.

Cropped, Flared Pants

Cropped, flared pants will always remind me of High Sport's Kick Pants—one of the most well-known examples of the style in recent years—and we will continue to see more iterations.

Suit Skirts

The defining skirt trend of fall 2026 runways was a suit skirt, which was seen at Celine, Chanel, Gucci, Hodakova, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, The Row, and Tom Ford.

Floral Appliqués

The one trend I wouldn't have expected to gravitate toward is floral appliqués, but another Alexa Chung outfit convinced me. When I saw her wear a Dior dress at the Met Gala, I loved it at first sight. Chanel, Dior, Khaite, and Simone Rocha have all included them in their fall designs, and I recently got the Genus Rose Midi Dress by Sleeper as a nod to the trend.

Kitten-Heel Pumps

Seeing how Kendall Jenner has styled her pair of The Row's Liisa Kitten Heeled Pumps sold me. I don't own any high heels and have been committed to kitten-heel sandals for years. I'm usually in knee-high boots when it gets chilly, but it's about time I get a closed-toe version for the fall.

If turquoise was the color trend of summer 2026, fall 2026 is all about soft pink, as seen at Chanel, Conner Ives, Sandy Liang, and Valentino, among others.

Royal Purple

I honestly can't remember the last time I wore purple, but according to my color analysis, I'm a true autumn, and it's actually one of my best shades. That said, purple is trending this fall, and I might finally give it a try.
