7 Simple and Chic Outfits That Require No Effort at All
I'm always in need of more easy outfit formulas, especially the ones comprised of all of my favorite basics that take five minutes to put together. This summer, I decided to start early and round up simple but elevated outfits to keep in my back pocket and revisit when I'm stumped on what to wear. On my hunt for the easiest but also chicest outfit ideas out there, I landed on six outfits that could work for so many spring/summer occasions. I found the perfect low-key sophisticated outfit inspiration for happy hour with friends, summer vacations, going out to dinner, and the office.
Keep scrolling to see the seven simple yet elevated outfit ideas I'm re-creating this spring and summer.
Bodysuit + cardigan + denim
This is the ultimate easy weekday outfit combination made up of my favorite basics. I'd pair this outfit combo with ballet flats.
Miniskirt + T-shirt + kitten heels
This outfit doesn't have to be all white to work, but now that I've seen it, I have to re-create it. It's the perfect happy hour look.
Strapless top + shorts + leather belt
I'm loving this outfit for a weekend out in the city. I have a feeling this spring and summer we'll be seeing lots of strapless tops.
Tank top + miniskirt + blazer
Filing this under "outfits to wear out to dinner this spring and summer." I'd opt for an oversize jacket to balance out the skimpiness of the tank top.
Striped button-down + relaxed trousers + sandals
I'm picturing myself wearing this to the farmers market on a weekend.
Minidress + flat sandals + sunglasses
Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best. I love how this dress-and-sandals outfit requires little to no effort yet looks so chic and put together. I can't wait until it's warm enough to wear this to drinks.
Mini shorts + tank top + raffia hat
Filing this look under "outfits to wear to the market."
