10 Lessons We Learned From Mean Girls
Mean Girls is the ultimate girl movie. It had drama, humor, and plenty of designer handbags. We’re still quoting it 10 years later around the office, so in honor of the movie’s anniversary, we thought we’d take a look at our favorite teachable moments. Get in—we’re going shopping.
“That’s why her hair is so big. It’s full of secrets.”
“I’m a mouse, duh.”
“On Wednesdays we wear pink.”
“We only carry sizes one, three, and five. You could try Sears.”
"I'm sorry that people are so jealous of me. But I can't help it that I'm popular."
“Oh my God, I love your skirt!”
“Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.”
“The limit does not exist.”
“It’s like I have ESPN or something. My breasts can always tell when it’s going to rain. Well… they can tell when it’s raining.”
“I have this theory, that if you cut off all her hair she’d look like a British man.”
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
